Woman, 46, shot in Homan Square

A 46-year-old woman was shot in the Homan Square neighborhood on the West Side early Saturday.

The woman was walking in her front gate in the 1400 block of South St. Louis about 1:40 a.m. when she saw two men arguing, then heard gunfire and felt pain, police siad.

She was taken to Mount Sinai Hospital with a gunshot wound to her leg, police said. He condition had stabilized.
