Three retail stores were reported robbed on the South and Southwest sides in September and October.

In each incident, a glass door of the business was shattered, which allowed the suspects to enter, according to a business alert from Chicago Police.

The robberies happened:

• Sept. 26 in the 4300 block of South Ashland Avenue;

• Sept. 30 in the 3100 block of South Ashland Avenue; and

• Oct. 5 in the 2400 block of West 47th Street.
