Man, woman found shot to death in Gary

A man and a woman were found shot to death Friday night in northwest Indiana.

Officers responding to reports of shots fired about 11:50 p.m. in the 2000 block of Industrial Boulevard in Gary, Indiana, found two people slumped down inside a vehicle, according to a statement from Gary police.

The 26-year-old man and 25-year-old woman had suffered gunshot wounds and were dead at the scene, police said.

The Lake County coroner’s office identified them as Devita Scott of the 3500 block of Lincoln Street in Gary and Christopher Clark Jr. of the 2400 block of Delaware Street in Gary.
