55-year-old man with dementia missing from Greater Grand Crossing

Police are looking for a 55-year-old man with dementia who has been missing since Thursday from the Greater Grand Crossing neighborhood on the South Side.

Jerome Brewer was last seen Thursday around 10:40 a.m. near Stroger Hospital, according to a missing person alert from Chicago Police. He may also be in the near the 100 block of North State.

Brewer is described as a 5-foot-9, 287-pound black man with gray hair, brown eyes and a medium complexion, police said. He was last seen wearing a gray jacket with a black collar, black t-shirt, blue jeans and gold, blue and gray gym shoes.

Anyone who sees him should call Area Central detectives at 312-747-8380.
