A 30-year-old man died after he was involved in a crash on I-57 in south suburban Blue Island.

Kelvin Crockett was involved in a crash on southbound I-57 at 127th Street in Blue Island, according to the Cook County medical examiner’s office.

Crockett, of the 7400 block of South Yates, died at 6:10 p.m. Saturday, according to the medical examiner’s office.

An autopsy Tuesday found he died of multiple injuries in a motor vehicle collision and his death was ruled an accident.

Illinois State Police could not provide information about the crash Tuesday.
