Police are warning residents of two business burglaries reported less than an hour apart in the South Side Avalon Park neighborhood.

The suspect stole electronics from inside the businesses then ran away, according to a community alert from Chicago Police.

The burglaries happened at 5:17 a.m. and 5:30 a.m. Sept. 24 in the 8100 block of South Stony Island Avenue, police said.

Anyone with information should contact Area South detectives at (312) 747-8373.
