Man shot in Chicago Lawn

A man was wounded in a shooting Wednesday night in the Chicago Lawn neighborhood on the Southwest Side.

The 21-year-old was walking in the 6300 block of South Artesian at 9:06 p.m. when he heard shots and realized he’d been hit, according to Chicago Police.

He was shot in the arm and taken to Stroger Hospital, where his condition was stabilized, police said.
