One man is in custody and police are searching for another in connection with a June garage burglary in northwest Indiana.

Terrence D. Maynor, 24, and 22-year-old Tyrone L. Maynor, both from Gary, have been charged with burglary and theft for the June 16 incident, according to a statement from Gary police.

The pair broke into a garage in the 500 block of Matthews Street and stole an item, police said.

As of Thursday afternoon, Tyrone L. Maynor was in custody, while Terrence D. Maynor remained at large, police said. Anyone with information on his whereabouts is asked to contact police at (219) 881-4743.
