A 22-year-old man was shot in the leg Wednesday night in the South Side Gresham neighborhood.

He was walking on the sidewalk at 6:55 p.m. in the 8400 block of South Throop when three people walked up and fired at him, according to Chicago Police.

He was taken to Little Company of Mary Hospital in Evergreen Park in good condition, police said.
