A south suburban Calumet City woman recently won $150,000 playing the Illinois Lottery.

Velma Dance used family birth dates for her numbers on a Lucky Day Lotto ticket for a drawing on Wednesday evening, according to the Illinois Lottery. She instantly won $150,000 when she matched all five numbers — 02-08-10-19-22.

Dance said she would use the money to buy a house, the lottery said.

The retailer of the ticket, River Oaks Mobil in Calumet City, will receive a bonus of $1,500 for selling the winning ticket, the lottery said.
