The White Sox announced their television and radio broadcast schedules Tuesday. Comcast SportsNet (CSN and CSN+) will televise 107 games, beginning with Opening Day on April 4 at Oakland and the home opener on April 8 vs. Cleveland, while WGN-TV (Channel 9) will broadcast 35 games and WPWR (Channel 50) will do 20 games.

All telecasts will be available in high definition. Game times and television networks are subject to change.

The Sox have three appearances on ESPN: April 6 at Oakland, May 4 vs. the Red Sox at U.S. Cellular Field and May 30 at the Mets. All three broadcasts also will be televised locally.

Ken Harrelson begins his 32nd season in the Sox TV booth. Harrelson is cutting back his schedule, calling play-by-play for all road games (with the exception of the Toronto series in April), the home opener and the Cubs vs. Sox two-game series at U.S. Cellular Field July 25-26. Steve Stone enters his eighth season as analyst in the television booth.

Newcomer Jason Benetti will call the play-by-play alongside Stone for 78 of 81 home games, as well as the three-game series at Toronto. Benetti’s first game is April 9 vs. Cleveland, the day after the home opener.

WLS-AM 890 is the Sox’ new flagship radio station and will broadcast all 162 games with Ed Farmer and Darrin Jackson returning for their eighth season together. Connor McKnight joins the radio team as host of the pregame and postgame shows on WLS, replacing WSCR’s Chris Rongey.

WRTO-AM 1200/Univision Radio returns as the Spanish-language radio home of the Sox, broadcasting 75 games. Hector Molina (play-by-play) and Billy Russo (color analyst) return as the Spanish-language broadcast team.
