There are a lot of things Leury Garcia can do to help a team win, almost none of them come at the plate. While he can play almost half the positions on the field, at-bat he isn’t a factor.
Unless he does things like he did last night, that is.
The utility defender was playing winter ball for the Dominican Republic in the Caribbean Series. In the third inning, with a runner on and the Dominican Republic down two, Leury cleared the bases a little unconventionally.

As soon as the ball got past the center fielder, the fleet footed Garcia was on his way to tying up the game.
Garcia hit his one-and-only home run in Major League Baseball in 2014 with the White Sox. That one, against the Dodgers, was a bit more conventional.
With a beefed up infield, the White Sox likely won’t put Garcia in many situations where they need a home run. However, it’s always nice to see a young player having some offseason success.
