A man was wounded in a shooting early Thursday in the Humboldt Park neighborhood on the West Side.

A man was wounded in a shooting early Thursday in the Humboldt Park neighborhood on the West Side.

The 34-year-old was in a car in the 2600 block of West North Avenue about midnight when another vehicle pulled up alongside and someone fired into the car, according to Chicago Police. The car the victim was in then crashed into a building.

The man was shot in the neck and taken to Stroger Hospital in fair condition, police said.
