Two men were shot Saturday afternoon during an armed robbery in the East Garfield Park neighborhood on the West Side.

The men, both 46, were walking about 3:45 p.m. in the 3900 block of West Erie when three people walked up to them and announced a robbery, according to Chicago Police. One of the robbers opened fire before the three ran away with the victims’ property.

One of the men was shot in the left leg and the other was shot in the right ankle, police said. They were both taken to Stroger Hospital in good condition.
