The search resumed for a 28-year-old man missing in Lake Michigan Monday morning after another man was rescued Sunday afternoon near the Gold Coast neighborhood.

A dive team and helicopter was dispatched about 3 p.m. to the lake near the 1600 block of North Lake Shore Drive to a report that someone jumped in the water, according to fire officials.

A 46-year-old man was rescued shortly after and taken to Presence Saint Joseph Hospital in good condition, police and fire officials said.

The other man, 28, was not found Sunday night, and police had resumed the search as of 8:45 a.m. Monday.
