In each burglary, someone broke into a garage and took tools, tool boxes, money and other property, according to a community alert from Chicago Police.

The burglaries happened:

  • at 6:15 a.m. May 22 in the 2700 block of West Montrose.

In at least one case, the burglar is described as a white Hispanic man with short black hair, 20-30 years old, standing between 5-foot-10 and 6-feet.

Anyone with information should call Area North detectives at (312) 744-8263.
