Two wounded in Chicago Lawn shooting

A woman and man were wounded in a shooting early Saturday in the Chicago Lawn neighborhood on the South Side.

At 1:22 a.m., the 29-year-old woman and 25-year-old man were leaving a party and getting into a vehicle in the 6900 block of South Campbell Avenue when someone started shooting, according to Chicago Police.

The woman was shot in the leg and was taken to Holy Cross Hospital, where her condition was stabilized, police said. The man was shot in the hand and was taken to Holy Cross Hospital before being transferred to Mount Sinai Hospital, where his condition was stabilized.
