Two shot in Austin

Two people were shot in the Austin neighborhood on the West Side early Saturday.

The two were shot in the 5200 block of West Congress about 12:10 a.m., police said.

One man, 24, was shot in the leg and taken to Mount Sinai Hospital in good condition, police said.

Another male, whose age was not known early Saturday, was shot in the hand, police said. He took himself to Loretto Hospital, but his condition was not immediately known.
