Man shot in West Ridge

A man was shot early Sunday in the West Ridge neighborhood on the North Side.

The 20-year-old was involved in an argument with another male about 12:45 a.m. in an alley in the 6100 block of North Oakley, when the male pulled out a gun and opened fire, according to Chicago Police.

The 20-year-old was shot in the left buttocks and was taken to Presence Saint Francis Hospital in Evanston, where his condition was stabilized, police said.

About 5:20 a.m., the man, 38, was found on a sidewalk in the 300 block of West Division Street when he had been shot multiple times in the body by someone he was arguing with, Chicago police said.
The man, believed to be in his 20s, was taken to Northwestern Memorial Hospital, where he died from his gunshot wounds, Chicago Fire Department officials said.
