Throughout his career, Robbie Gould has been one of the most consistent and dependable players in the NFL. The Bears kicker was all but a sure thing from almost any distance. However, half way through the season, Gould is in the middle of a slump.

For only the second time in his career, Gould has missed his last three field goals. After missing his last attempt against Minnesota, Gould missed both field goals in San Diego last week. That was only the third time Gould missed two kicks in the same game, the last time coming against St. Louis.

It’s only the second time in his career that he’s missed three kicks in a row, the first coming during a stretch in 2010.

With the Bears seemingly in a one-possession game every week, a return to form for Gould could make the difference. The Rams play in a dome, where Gould has been more accurate through his career.

For their part, the Rams aren’t as secure with their kicker as expected. Greg Zuerlein has already missed seven field goals.
