Carlos Boozer explains the origins of his epically bad hair day

When the Bulls completed a sign-and-trade for former Utah Jazz standout Carlos Boozer, they thought they were getting one of the best players of the 2010 free agent class.

While Boozer was by no means a bust, he didn’t quite earn the 13.5 mil Chicago payed him. Many were hoping Boozer would be the answer to the Bulls’ post play, but instead he become a liability on the defensive end. As a member of the Bulls, many pundits termed the phrase “ole defense” to describe Boozer’s defensive acumen.

As bad as his defense was in Chicago, nothing was worse than his infamous bad hair day. It was the type of bad hair do that people were buzzing about it throughout the city — even Booz’s friends were clowning him for it.

He went on ESPN’s “Highly Questionable” show to talk about the dreadful day.

Sometimes you just have to accept that you are going bald. This is what happens when you fight it.
