Get your popcorn ready, this is getting interesting.
Minutes after the Pirates clinched home-field advantage in Wednesday’s wild-card game against the Cubs, Chicago pitcher Jake Arrieta all-but-guaranteed a win in responding to a heckler on Twitter.
“Be ready for a sea of black” the heckler wrote, adding the hashtag “#GoingToEatYouAlive.”
Arrieta quickly responded:
Whatever helps keep your hope alive, just know, it doesn't matter. @Cubs https://t.co/bJDN1wP0tS

Arrieta, a front-runner for the NL Cy Young award, will start the game for Chicago.
Arrieta has a 0.41 ERA since August and has posted a quality start in every outing since June.
He hasn’t allowed a run in his past 22 innings pitched and the Cubs are 17-1 in Arrieta’s past 18 starts, so if anyone can guarantee a win, it’s him.
The Cubs were 6-4 against the Pirates in games played in Pittsburgh this season. Arrieta was 3-1 with a 0.75 ERA in five starts against the Pirates.
