A man was shot in the Ravenswood neighborhood on the Northwest Side Friday night.
The 35-year-old was standing outside in the 4700 block of North Virginia about 10 p.m. when another male walked up and shot him in the left shoulder, police said.
He was taken to Swedish Covenant Hospital where his condition had stabilized, police said.
