Bridge inspection scheduled on Torrance Ave. in Lansing Saturday

A bridge inspection will shut down multiple lanes of Torrence Avenue on Saturday morning over I-80/94 in south suburban Lansing.

The various closures will occur between 4 and 10 a.m. on the bridge carrying Torrance over the interstate, about a mile east of Route 394, according to statement from the Illinois Department of Transportation. At least two lanes will remain open at all times.

Drivers should expect delays and allow for extra travel time, IDOT said.
