Man shot in Longwood Manor

A 21-year-old man was shot Saturday evening in the Longwood Manor neighborhood on the South Side.

He was sitting in the passenger seat of a vehicle as it pulled out of a gas station about 9:35 p.m. in the 9900 block of South Vincennes Avenue when a male began shooting at the vehicle, according to Chicago Police.

He was shot in the back and taken to Christ Medical Center in Oak Lawn in serious condition, police said.
