The U-Too’s annual high school football coverage kicks off on Friday with Montini vs. Maine South.

“Game of the Week on The U-Too continues to spread throughout Chicagoland,” Fred Weintraub, Executive Producer of Sports, said. “We feel honored to be connected to all the schools for more than a decade. It is our responsibility to combine the best of high school sports along with educational elements that showcase each of the schools. This year, you have an opportunity to see the game in person, on television, online. We plan to broadcast each game a number of times so there is no excuse to miss out.”

As part of expanded coverage of local high schools this season, WCIU (The U) will also feature the week’s matchups in short segments in prime-time programming and every Friday morning during football season on ‘You & Me’ from 6 a.m. to 8 a.m.

Aug. 26, 10 p.m.: Montini vs. Maine South*

Sept. 2 10 p.m.: Naperville Central vs. Neuqua Valley*

Sept. 9, 10 p.m.: Loyola vs. Mount Carmel*

Sept. 16, 10 p.m.: Lincoln-Way East vs. Bolingbrook*

Sept. 23, 7:30 p.m.: Brother Rice vs. Providence

Sept. 23, 10 p.m.: St. Rita vs. Mount Carmel*

Oct. 14, 7:30 p.m.: Brother Rice vs. St. Rita

Oct. 21, 7:30 p.m.: Loyola vs. Brother Rice

*The five games that air at 10 p.m. are tape-delayed.
