A man was shot in the Brighton Park neighborhood on the Southwest Side Friday night.

The 18-year-old was shot in the chest just after 10 p.m. in the 3800 block of South Kedzie, police said.

He was taken to Mount Sinai Hospital, where his condition stabilized, police said.
