Man fatally shot in North Lawndale

A man was shot to death Monday evening in the North Lawndale neighborhood on the West Side.

Raheem Gray, 34, was in the 3600 block of West 13th Street about 5:15 p.m. when another male walked up and shot him several times before running off east on 13th Street then south on Central Park, according to police and the Cook County medical examiner’s office.

Gray, of the 3600 block of West Douglas, was taken to Mount Sinai Hospital, where he was pronounced dead at 5:47 p.m., according to the medical examiner’s office.
