Kennedy, Dan Ryan ramps to outbound Eisenhower closed Sunday

The ramps from the inbound Dan Ryan Expressway and Kennedy Expressways onto the outbound Eisenhower Expressway will be closed Sunday.

That’s so workers can place the final support beams for the bridge deck on the new Jane Byrne Circle flyover ramp.

Weather permitting, the Dan Ryan ramp will be closed until 8 a.m. Sunday, and the Kennedy ramp will be closed until 10 a.m. Sunday, according to the Illinois Department of Transportation, which says the new flyover bridge should be finished next winter.
