A man was shot early Sunday in the Austin neighborhood on the West Side.

The 22-year-old told investigators he was walking about 4:30 a.m. in the 6000 block of West Chicago when he heard gunfire and realized he’d been shot in the right thigh, according to Chicago Police.

He later showed up at Mount Sinai Hospital, where he was listed in good condition, police said.
