Semi rollover crash, spilled lumber closes lanes of Bishop Ford

A semi truck rolled over Monday morning, spilling lumber on the Bishop Ford Freeway and temporarily closing all lanes near south suburban South Holland.

The single-vehicle crash happened about 4:40 a.m. in the southbound lanes of I-94 near 159th Street, according to Illinois State Police. No injuries were reported.

The truck spilled lumber onto both sides of the freeway, temporarily closing all lanes, police said.

As of 7:45 a.m. Monday one southbound lane was reopened to traffic, but all northbound lanes remained closed while authorities worked to clean up the debris, police said.
