A man suffering from gunshot wounds walked into a Near North Side hospital Monday night.

The 24-year-old showed up at Northwestern Memorial Hospital at 10:58 p.m. with multiple gunshot wounds to the leg, according to Chicago Police. His condition was stabilized.

The man was being uncooperative with investigators, and it was not immediately known where the shooting occurred, police said. A police source said he is a documented gang member.
