Three people were hurt in a high-speed, head-on crash early Saturday in Orland Park involving a car and a pickup truck.

It happened just after 12:30 a.m. in a construction zone in the 10400 block of 159th Street, according to the Orland Fire Protection District, which said a woman in her early 20s was pinned inside the car by the crash. It took about 15 minutes to get her out, fire officials said.

She and a man and woman in the truck were taken to Silver Cross Hospital to be treated for trauma.
