Work on the NBC-TV show “Chicago Med” will cause street closings Monday and Tuesday near Grant Park.

On Monday, South Congress Circle Plaza will be closed from 7 a.m. to 1 p.m. between Michigan Avenue and Congress Parkway while the TV show films a race in Grant Park, according to the Chicago Department of Transportation.

Between 6 a.m. and 8 p.m. two lanes of Congress Parkway between Congress Circle Plaza and Columbus Drive also will be closed.

On Tuesday, two lanes of Congress Parkway between Congress Circle Plaza and Columbus will be closed between 6 a.m. and 4 p.m. for work on the TV show, and all lanes of Balbo Drive between Columbus and Lake Shore Drive will be shut down between 2 p.m. and 9 p.m.
