Daily Herald: Barrington knocks off Maine South

Barrington grinded past Maine South 41-27 on Friday in a Mid Suburban League/Central Suburban League football crossover in Barrington.

Running behind an offensive line that averages 265 pounds — Nick Bart, John Stefan, Mark Bach, Brad Warman and Eric Padilla — the Broncos piled up 285 yards on the ground and 420 of total offense.

Barrington running back Logan Moews gained 165 yards on 27 carries while quarterback Ray Niro had 119 yards on 16 carries. Niro also threw for 165 yards on 11-of-15 passing with 2 touchdowns.
