A man was shot Saturday night in the Homan Square neighborhood on the West Side.

About 8 p.m., the 21-year-old was outside in the 3400 block of West Harrison Street when a person walked up to him and fired shots, according to Chicago Police. He was struck in the abdomen and a forearm.

He was taken to Stroger Hospital in serious condition, police said.
