An 18-year-old man was shot in the Southwest Side Lawndale neighborhood Saturday evening.

About 6 p.m., he was standing on the sidewalk in the 4000 block of West 21st Place when a male came out of an alley and began shooting, according to Chicago Police.

The teen was struck in his right foot and was taken from his residence to St. Anthony Hospital, where his condition stabilized, police said.
