Man wounded in Englewood shooting

A man was shot in the neck Monday evening in the Englewood neighborhood on the South Side.

About 6:04 p.m., the 24-year-old man was a passenger in a vehicle in the 5600 block of South Throop Street when a black vehicle drove up from behind and suspects began shooting, according to Chicago Police.

The victim was taken to Christ Medical Center where his condition was stabilized, police said.
