Man shot in Back of the Yards

A man was shot Sunday night in the Back of the Yards neighborhood on the South Side.

The 22-year-old was sitting in the driver’s seat of a parked vehicle about 9:35 p.m. in the 4900 block of South Hoyne when another vehicle pulled up and a male inside opened fire, according to Chicago Police.

The man was shot in the left arm and taken to Mount Sinai Hospital, where his condition was stabilized, police said.
