A 71-year-old man who went missing from West Garfield Park Monday night has been found safe and taken to a hospital, police announced early Tuesday.

Abraham Cooper had left his home for a walk at 8:50 p.m. in the 300 block of South Kilpatrick Avenue and not returned, according to a police missing person’s alert.
