Two women were shot early Saturday morning in the Bronzeville neighborhood on the South Side.

About 1 a.m., two women, ages 38 and 35, were shot while standing in the 4800 block of South State Street, according to Chicago Police. The 38-year-old woman suffered a graze wound to the left hip and the 35-year-old woman was shot in the left abdomen, police said.

Both victims were taken to Stroger Hospital where their conditions were stabilized, police said.
