A man was shot in the Englewood neighborhood late Friday.

The 25-year-old was outside a home in the 5900 block of South Halsted about 11:05 p.m. when he was shot in the buttocks, police said.

He took himself to the University of Chicago Medical Center, though police did not disclose his condition.
