Man hurt in Austin drive-by

A man was hurt in a shooting in the Austin neighborhood Friday night.

The 19-year-old was standing in the 700 block of North Latrobe about 8:35 p.m. when someone in a passing blue sedan shot him in the right leg, police said.

He was taken to Mount Sinai Hospital, where his condition stabilized, police said.
