Man shot in Austin

A man was shot Saturday night in the Austin neighborhood on the West Side.

The 19-year-old was walking at 10:23 p.m. in the 5600 block of West Madison when he heard gunfire and realized he’d been shot in the right knee, according to Chicago Police.

He was taken to Mount Sinai Hospital, where his condition was stabilized, police said.
