Man wounded in Englewood shooting

A man was shot in the Englewood neighborhood on the South Side early Friday.

The 28-year-old was shot in the leg about 1:55 a.m. in the 6900 block of South Eggleston, according to Chicago Police. The shooting may have been self-inflicted.

He was taken to St. Bernard Hospital and Health Care Center, where his condition stabilized, police said.
