A man was hurt in a Chatham neighborhood shooting early Friday on the South Side.

About 4:15 a.m., the 26-year-old was playing dice with a group in the 8700 block of South Cottage Grove when someone walked up and started shooting at them, according to Chicago Police.

A bullet grazed the man’s back. He was treated and released at the scene, police said.
