A 12-year-old boy was charged with robbing three people at gunpoint over the course of a week earlier this month in River North.

Police said the boy was involved in robberies in the 700 to 900 blocks of North Larrabee that occurred between 8 p.m. and 9:30 p.m. on Sept. 14, 15 and 19.

In each case, the boy walked up to people, pulled out a gun and demanded their property, police said.

Though police said the boy was involved in all three robberies, he was only charged with one felony count of felony armed robbery. His court information was not disclosed.
