If you usually use the Adams Street bridge downtown to get to or from Union Station, you’ll need to find another route starting Friday night and continuing through the weekend.

Demolition work will shut down access to the sidewalks on the bridge from 9 p.m. Friday until 6 a.m. Monday and again next weekend, according to the Chicago Department of Transportation.
