A man was shot in the Near West Side neighborhood Thursday night.

The 23-year-old was in the 200 block of South Western about 10:45 p.m. when someone in a passing black SUV shot him in the left foot, police said.

The man was taken to Stroger Hospital, where his condition stabilized, police said.

The men, 18 and 20, were in the 1800 block of West Monroe Street about 9:20 p.m. when two people got out of a light-colored sedan and fired shots. They were hospitalized in fair condition.
