West Englewood shooting leaves one wounded

A man was shot in West Englewood early Saturday.

The 26-year-old was trying to break up a fight between two women in the 7100 block of South Hoyne about 12:45 a.m. when one of the women pulled out a gun shot shot him in the right leg, police said.

He took himself to Holy Cross Hospital, police said. His condition was not disclosed.
